At the quietness and beautiful view of lake Kivu in Eastern Congo, lies the town of Bukavu. Jean-Jean Bashengezi known by his childhood name ``JAJA``, was born and raised in Bukavu, the capital of Kivu province in eastern DRC (Democratic Republic of Congo), former Zaire. Bukavu was then referred to by many as the Switzerland of the region because of its beauty facing the cost of the great lake Kivu. As a guitarist, a singer and a song writer,JaJa has discovered world music after such a long musical career since 1998 while in exile in East Africa. Speaking six different languages,playing three different traditional instruments on top of guitar, this makes his music more diverse and more inspiring.
